1. What did you want to be as a kid and why?

My dream career as a child was to be an inventor. I wanted to improve everyday life with creative ideas or make it easier and have always enjoyed technical and mechanical things.

2. How long have you been working for Lugaia and why?

I've been with Lugaia since September 1st, 2022. A few years ago I had the opportunity to visit Lugaia with my former employer. Even then I felt the positive working atmosphere. After completing further training, it was time for me to change my career. The timing of the vacancy as a quality manager was perfect and I was happy to apply.

3. What is your fondest memory of your Lugaia career?

My second day at work was a company teamevent, the autumn hike in the beautiful Lötschental. This trip showed me how much appreciation you get as an employee at Lugaia.

4. What are your responsibilities?

My main task is to ensure that our products meet regulatory and customer-specific requirements with consistent quality. This includes checking documentation, supplier audits, clarifying regulatory issues, receiving auditors, change and deviation management, introducing new systems, monitoring and improving the quality system.

5. What is your future vision for the company Lugaia?

Despite the rapid growth, Lugaia AG has mastered the step from start-up to SME very well in my opinion. In my opinion, maintaining the flexibility and familiarity with the employees of a start-up and at the same time strengthening the continuity of an established SME are future tasks that need to be mastered. For the future, I see Lugaia AG as an economically successful, customer and employee-oriented company with a lean and stable structure. So we will continue to serve the global market with innovative and high-quality products while having fun at work.

6. Who or what excites and inspires you?

I am a believer. When I look at the starry sky at night and imagine the size and variety, I am amazed by the creator who thought up and created all this.

7. What do you still love about your job today?

In my opinion the tension between efficient production and increasing regulatory limits is exciting. It encourages creative solutions and awakens my inventive spirit.

8. What do you draw strength from?

There's a lot there. Spending time with my family is definitely high on the list. My “morning ritual” is also important to me. After getting up, I like to take the time to pray and have a cup of coffee. Both give me strength for the day.

9. Do you have a life wisdom?

I don't actually have any wisdom as such. Maybe I should think about it...

10. If you could change something in the world, what would it be?

Sometimes I wish there is a little more respect in the world. From my point of view, different opinions are usually enriching and therefore deserve a certain respect, even if you have a different opinion yourself and can keep it.
