Sales Manager - Location: Home Office, U.S.

To support our continued growth in North America, we are looking for a motivated and technically minded Sales Manager in the U.S.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on API and small molecule manufacturing
  • Identify customer needs and develop customized containment and transfer solutions
  • Present technical concepts, proposals, and strategies to customers
  • Support and represent Lugaia USA at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering and sales teams at our headquarters in Switzerland to develop technical concepts and quotations
  • Provide customer training, technical support, and after-sales service
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and industry partners

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in a technical sales role within the U.S. pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Technical degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from a home office while also being an effective team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the United States (approximately 30-50%)
  • Residence in the Northeastern United States (NJ, PA, NY, MA, CT, or surrounding states) is preferred
  • Knowledge of the German language is a plus but not required
