After 4 years it was finally time again! The #ACHEMA22 called. For our sales team, things started on Sunday. The delegation traveled by train from Switzerland to Frankfurt, where the happy reunion between the Lugaia Germany and Lugaia Switzerland sales team took place. The final preparations were made with the stand builder and the Lugaia stand was finally set up. In the evening, the hungry stomachs were satisfied and of course a social gathering couldn't be missed either.

After a fairly warm night in Frankfurt, the doors were opened to visitors on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 9 a.m. The anticipation was great! Everyone was curious to see how many visitors actually came.

Together with our company owner Viktor Schnyder, I was also allowed to travel to Frankfurt on Monday to bang the drum a little, support our sales team and see whether the preparations for the trade fair and the stand construction went smoothly. The start was definitely successful, we even arrived 2 minutes early in Frankfurt Hbf by train. After checking in at the hotel, we went straight to the exhibition center to visit our colleagues in Hall 3.1 at Stand A28. We met our four cheerful sales men who were highly motivated to explain our flexible single-use Containment Solutions to the customers.

There was diligent crimping, advicing, listening, exchanging, discussing, philosophizing and sweating. Because it was really hot in Frankfurt! Temperatures were above 30 degrees all week. Luckily the exhibition halls (in contrast to our hotel room) were air-conditioned.

Same procedure, every day: breakfast, whole day at the fair, dinner, drink beer, sleep. In my opinion, our sales team did this superbly. They answered questions and advised the international clients with a lot of know-how and heart and soul. I think this is what makes Lugaia so special. We are passionate about offering customer-specific containment solutions that satisfy the customer and always strive to find the best possible solution for their individual application.

Then, on Wednesday, there was a flying change. Viktor and I traveled back to Switzerland and our production management and engineering supplemented our sales team with additional manpower. Unfortunately, the return journey didn't go so smoothly, but in the end everyone somehow found the way back to Valais :-)

And after 5 days of the fair we draw a positive conclusion. There were many interesting acquaintances and we were very happy to see old and new faces! A big thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand. And as the saying goes: after the fair is before the fair! From September 27th to 29th, 2022 you will again have the opportunity to experience our innovative Containment Solutions live at the PowTech in Nuremberg. #LugaiaOnTour
